Taekwon-Do International is very proud to welcome 9th Dan Grandmaster Dato’ Dr. Sabree Salleh to the union effective January 1, 2010.
Recognized worldwide for his generous contributions to Taekwon-Do and it’s popularity, Grandmaster Sabree Salleh recently chose to join the union due to his long standing relationship with our president and founder Grandmaster Kim. He began learning Taekwon-Do in the early 1960′s and lives in Selangor, Malaysia.
As a 3rd dan, he was chosen by General Choi to take more than 20,000 photographs used in the publication of the International Taekwon-Do Federation Encyclopedia. His relationship with the General remained close over the years and he helped care for him in the 1980s and 90s prior to his passing.
For a detailed biography, and many, many more photos, please visit Grandmaster Sabree Salleh’s Photo site.
Please join us in welcoming Grandmaster Sabree to Taekwon-Do International as our most senior member.
Below is a published 10 minute documentary on Grandmaster Sabree. ( If you look closely at 2:22 into the video, you’ll
briefly see the school patch of SJ Kim’s Taekwon-Do! )

Congratulation TKDI of your new website , it is very interesting and nice .
Dearest Grand Master Sabree Saleh,
I am looking forward to meeting you in Kuala Lumpur when we are all going to travel with Grand Master Vince Palumbo to the martial art event in Kuching, and we will be doing a special stop-over in K.L. on our way to this event.
We are being awarded the prestigious titles at the ‘Hall of Fame’ event being held in Kuching, and I am very proud to say that I have been voted as ‘Grand Master Of The Year’ with that Organisation.
I have been awarded this title because of my extensive teaching in United Kingdom, Philippines, Poland, Germany, New Zealand, Korea, USA and Australia, where I have taught empty hands and feet combat
fighting, grappling, and Filipino Weaponry.
I am looking forward to seeing you in Kuala Lumpur real soon!
Regards from Grand Master ‘Count’ Christopher Nasilowski 10th Dan.
